A wintery day in February

McCormick Flavours Conference, Beaumont House, Windsor. The set up began at 05:00hrs on a cold and snowy morning ready for rehearsals starting that afternoon.  Meanwhile 120 delegates from around the world, some meeting for the very first time, began to arrive at the venue.

The event started with business sessions from the senior management followed by team activity with an Irish feel.  This was compared by TV presenter and model, Trish Lynch.  Delegates had to create a new recipe using Play dough, sponges, cards and a flip chart.  The winning dish would be re-created by McCormick's own chef and served at the gala dinner.

The afternoon was for networking, with delegates allotted time to visit their colleagues' exhibition stands so that they could get to understand the inner workings of the company products and services.

There were subtle changes from the corporate colours of red, blue and white in the morning business sessions to a green, white and orange Irish theme for the team games and the evening.  We used Mac 250 entours, Thomas pixel line P90 LED Pixel pars and Pixelline 1044 LED battens.  This lighting also allowed us to create dramatic effects later on in the evening for Skinner Rats, the cabaret.
